Long Story Short
Publishing Company
Long Story Short Publishing Company was created to meet the needs of the many writers whose gift is in writing but not necessarily in publishing or marketing.  We take the pain out of self-publishing by turning your work into a marketable e-Book in .pdf format.  If your book is ready to be published in e-book format, but you are at a loss as to where to start, we can help you.

GETTING STARTED - First, compile your book into one long Microsoft Word document.  If it is a collection of short stories or a novel with chapter titles, give us a book title and a list of the story titles and include these at the beginning of the document in a Table of Contents.  Don't number the pages or put page numbers in the table of contents - they will likely change. We'll take care of that.  Be sure to proofread and spellcheck your stories before putting them in your chosen order. Then, send the document to us. (See our submissions page.)

COSTS - We are trying to keep our fees reasonable and if you already have an e-book, we will simply put it in our bookstore and split the price with you 66/34% (you get the 66%).  We have a simple contract and you retain all rights and can remove the book from our store at anytime with 3 days notice.  If you haven't done anything but write the book and need to have it formatted with headings, pagination, title page, book cover, etc., see our pricing page.
